The Oakland Raiders have signed center John Wade

The Raiders have signed center John Wade.  The 33-year old Wade is a big guy at 6′5″, 299 pounds and he fills a big need for the Raiders.  Wade started all 16 games for the Buccaneers last season.  Wade has now played in 126 games (106 starts) in his 10-year NFL career.

The Oakland Raiders sign DE Kalimba Edwards

The Raiders have signed DE Kalimba Edwards.  Edwards played in 8 games (6 starts) for the Lions last season and he made 17 tackles and had 3 sacks.  Edwards has now played in 87 games (22 starts) in his NFL career and he has made 160 tackles, has 26 sacks and he has defensed 10 passes.  This was a good move for the Raiders who needed some pass rush help.

The Oakland Raiders sign DE/OLB Akbar Gbaja-Biamila

The Raiders have signed DE/OLB Akbar Gbaja-Biamila to a 2-year contract.  The Raiders must know something that no one else does.  Gbaja-Biamila only played in 1 game last season with the Dolphins and he didn’t even make a tackle.  He has now played in 31 games in his NFL career and he has made 22 tackles, has 2 sacks and he has defended 2 passes.
