The Raiders have released Aaron Brooks.  This came as no surprise as the Raiders are looking hard at drafting QB JaMarcus Russell from LSU with their #1 pick in the NFL Draft.  Brooks had a rough, injury marred season as he played in 8 games (all starts) and he completed 110 of 192 passes (57.3%) for 1,105 yards with 3 TD passes and 8 interceptions (61.7 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 22 times for 124 yards (5.6 ypc).

The Raiders could have used more production out of their TE position last season.  With the Raiders poor offensive line they could have used more out of the tight ends to protect their QBs from taking such a beating.  They caught 54 passes for 587 yards and 2 TD catches as a unit.

Randal Williams played in 16 games (10 starts) last season and he caught 28 passes for 293 yards (10.5 avg).  For his career, Williams has played in 67 games (16 starts) and he has caught 42 passes for 471 yards (11.2 avg) with 0 TD grabs.

Courtney Anderson played in 16 games (11 starts) and he caught 25 passes for 285 yards (11.4 avg) with 2 TD catches.  For his career, Anderson has played in 39 games (28 starts) and he has caught 62 passes for 763 yards (12.3 avg) with 6 TD catches.

James Adkisson played in two games last season and caught 1 pass for 9 yards.
