Raiders shut out at home 20-0 by the Rams
It just keeps getting worse for Raiders fans as the season wears on. To be shut out by such a bad defensive team is a joke. Aaron Brooks started the game and completed 11 of 19 passes for 98 yards and a pick-off before he was benched. Andrew Walter promptly came in and threw an interception on his first pass attempt and that set up the Rams final TD, which was scored on the next play. Walter completed 14 of 20 passes for 131 yards and 2 pick-offs. Justin Fargas carried the ball 12 times for 43 yards (3.6 ypc). RaShard Lee only carried the ball 2 times for 3 yards, but he caught 5 passes for 21 yards. Ronald Curry was very busy as he caught 9 passes for 87 yards. TE Courtney Anderson caught 4 passes for 52 yards.
The defense played pretty well for the Raiders today. Derrick Burgess and Kirk Morrison each had 6 tackles and a sack. The Rams carried the ball 35 times for 148 yards (4.2 ypc). The Rams completed 11 of 22 passes for just 103 net yards passing.
The Raiders fell to 2-12 on the season after this pathetic offensive display of football.
