The over/under for the Raiders is 6 1/2.  The Raiders are 50-1 to win the Super Bowl and 35-1 to win the AFC.

The suggestion here is to take the over.  The Raiders are going to be better this season due to Art Shell, and the Chiefs and Chargers are going to be falling a bit.

Everybody gives the Raiders a bad wrap. I think the raiders are going to be alot better then the media is picking them to be. Aaron Brooks had a bad year last season, but the Saints had a terrible season(Under the kartina exp). Two years ago Aaron Brooks got snup at the pro bowl in 2003. He had 24TD’s and just 8 picks. He is only 30yrs old. They got three really good wide receivers, many key defensive players pick up to fill all the holes from last year. They only had five interceptions on defence last year got twelve in 2006 pre-season. I predict they go 10 and 6. Maybe a wild card in the playoffs.

I have to disagree a little bit with your assesment of the Raiders. I think that having Art Shell back is a positive, but I think the best case scenario is 8-8. Alot of tough teams play in this division.
