Michael Huff (1, S/CB)

Huff was a tremendous pick for the Oakland Raiders.  Huff has played every secondary position in college and excelled at them all.  Huff would be the consensus #1 safety or cornerback in the draft.  He may project to be a better corner in the NFL because of his size 6’0″, 198.  Make no mistake, Huff brings the heat in the running game and loves to blow up running backs.  Huff also has tremendous speed (4.35 40), and no one gets behind him going out for passes.

Huff has played in 51 games at Texas (50 starts) and has made 318 tackles, broke up 44 passes, intercepted 7 passes and forced six fumbles.

Huff should be a starter from Day #1 for the Raiders….position in secondary yet to be determined.
